Rachel welcomes Alex, Leah, Hopkins, and the viewers to sing and sign with us. A shortened version of "Signing Time! Theme" is played.

Rachel shows the signs for farm, chicken, horse, goat, mouse, rooster, sheep, cow, donkey, pig, and turkey. "Leah's Farm" is played.

Rachel shows the signs for pet, cat, dog, fish, bird, squirrel, duck, rabbit, and snail. "Did You Know?" is played.

Rachel shows the signs for frog, snake, lizard, and turtle. "Turtle Rock" is played. Day becomes night in Leah's Farm.

Rachel shows the signs for barn and rock. She waves goodbye to the viewers and the episode ends. "Goodnight to Leah's Farm" is played.

• This is the only Signing Time! episode of season one to feature the rooster crowing sound effect. It will not be used again in the future episodes.
  • Because of this, a rooster crowing sound effect was heard 4 times.
• This is the second Signing Time! episode to feature the cow mooing sound effect.
• This is the first episode to feature a 2005 different font style.
• This is the first episode for the credits to be blue.
• This is the only episode to premiere in January 12, 2005.
• A rooster can be heard crowing in the background, but there literally is a rooster on-screen.
• A cow can be heard mooing in the background, but there literally is a cow on-screen.
• This is the 4th appearance of Hopkins the Frog.
• This is the 7th appearance of Rachel Coleman.

• The end credits playing in the background is the Goodnight to Leah's Farm song.

Goofs/Errors

• The Manual Alphabet Practice in Signing Time! where Rachel signs ABC in ASL, but it is called "Signing Time! ABCs".

Farm. It’s an open hand that slides all the way from jaw to jaw like the fence across the front of the farm. Farm!

Chicken. This is the sign for chicken. Make the sign for bird and then you peck at the ground. Chicken.

Horse. Make your two fingers flap like a horse's ear. It's also an H for horse. Horse.

Goat. Show the goat’s chin hair and its horns. Goat!

Mouse! Take your pointer and brush the end of your nose, showing the mouse’s little nose. Mouse!

[Night becomes day in the bedroom, and then the rooster crows 4 times to wake Alex and Leah up.]

Rooster! Make a 3 and put your thumb on your forehead! Looks just like a rooster’s comb. Rooster!

"Oh, Hopkins!"

"He sheared the sheep."

Sheep! Take your two fingers and move it up your arm like you are shearing sheep. Sheep!

(cow mooing)

Cow! Make a Y and put it up on the side of your forehead like a cow’s little horn. Can you sign cow?

Donkey! Put your thumb on the side of your forehead and wave your whole hand like a donkey’s ear. Donkey!

Pig! Put your hand under your chin and wave it like food dripping off a pig’s chin. Pig!

Turkey! Take your thumb and pointer at your chin, pointing down like the turkey’s waddle. Turkey!

Pet! Just like you are petting an animal. Pet!

Remember cat? You show the cat's whiskers.

Dog. Pat your leg or pat and snap, just like you're calling a dog. Dog!

Fish. Make your hand swim like a fish. You can use one hand or two. Fish.

Bird. Your fingers make a bird's beak. Bird.

Here’s the sign for squirrel! It’s like a squirrel’s little teeth munching a nut. Squirrel!

Duck! It’s just like bird but with two fingers to show the duck’s bill. Duck!

Rabbit. Cross your arms and show the rabbit’s ears with your two fingers. Rabbit! Or you might see it signed like this. Rabbit!

Snail! Show the snail slowly moving along your hand. Snail! Or show the snail and here’s his shell. Snail!

Frog. Your fingers jump out like a frog jumping. Frog.

Snake! Your two fingers move out like a snake’s tongue. Ooooo snake.

Lizard! Make an L for lizard and run it up your arm. Lizard!

Turtle! Your thumb is the turtle’s head and your other hand is the shell. Now make his head nod. Turtle!

"Here come the frogs."

"And they all hop to Turtle Rock."

"Here come the snakes."

"Slither straight on down to Turtle Rock."

"Here come the lizards."

"Scamper, scamper."

"Freeze, freeze."

"Scamper, scamper."

"Freeze, freeze."

"Scamper prance on down to Turtle Rock."

"Here come the turtles."

"So slow they go to Turtle Rock."
